The End of College Life: Part 1The time has finally come! I am graduating from college. And still, as I type this post, it has not…View Post
Photo taken after lots of crying….I’m going to miss this lovely lady soooo much! From being the only ones in our SAI class who would sing Alto, to countless Starbucks dates and a never ending yelling match telling the other to eat a dry cookie! I’m so glad I met you through SAI and call you my sister. I love you so much @mckcomo !! #SAI #Roses #Sisters #DryCookies

I can’t believe I’m going to be graduating in 15 days!!! It’s been quite the journey over these 5 years here at Mizzou, but I do not regret a thing!
Every experience, good, awesome and bad, has only molded me into the woman I am today. I’m excited to see where the Lord will take me from here as I begin my professional career!
Never in a million years would I believe someone if they told me I would graduate from college with a Sociology degree, single, a heart for ministry, a strong relationship with Christ, SINGLE, ready to start a nonprofit…and SINGLE. Haha! In high school I was sure I would get a music performance degree with a business minor and that I’d be well on my way to being the female version of Clive Davis & Diddy times 100. I was also sure that by age 21 (even though now I’m 22) I would certainly be married (if not engaged) to a fictional guy whom I was supposed to meet by my sophomore year and fall madly in love with! No, really, that’s what I had planned. But God had/has His plans for me and they’re slowly turning out to be amazing, so I’m content in that!
Besides, I still have music near and dear to me; it’s just not in the (selfish) way I imagined it…
Next for me? I’ll be working at Kids Across America all summer then I am….well, that will be another post, but I do have a couple awesome job offers on the table in an unexpected city :) More on this later!
